The District Commission entertains consumer complaints where the value of goods or services paid is up to 50 lakh. The State Commission entertains complaints of 50 lakh and up to 2 crore. NCDRC entertains complaints where the value of goods or services paid exceeds 2 crore. The State Commission hears appeals against orders of the District Commission. NCDRC hears appeals against orders passed by State Commissions. The Supreme Court hears appeals against orders passed by NCDRC.
